A brief look at Herbal tea baths!
Tea’s & of course herbs have had a long history of providing our bodies with the healthy vitimans & minerals that our body needs and some of us would just like more of! Which can be especially beneficial when you are sick! But did you know that certain types of teas also have anti-aging properties, & can help reduce the risk of certain types of cancers? And since our skin is our largest organ, soaking in your tub can be an amazing way to get those benefits!
Herbal tea baths have also been used to help relax sore muscles because of their anti inflammatory properties. They also can be a great way to relax your mind with their mild but calming aromatic scents.
Tea baths can also be very beneficial to those who have overly sensitive skin. The mildness of tea baths have been proven to be safe for even your baby’s skin! Studies have shown that tea baths may help with eczema, acne, psoriasis and other mild skin conditions. They have been shown to help improve the appearance of scars, dark spots, and even wrinkles! They have been said to help with cramps caused by PMS, and have been used to help reduce and heal UTI’s.
Herbal baths have been around since ancient times, & have been used by many different cultures to preserve their youth, and to help heal their mind & bodies. And it’s a practice I am excited to share with you all!
